The Italian ACI Karting 2020 Championship is about to start from Sicily

Triscina, August, 5th 2020. The International Circuit in Triscina (Trapani) is about to start edition 2020 of the Italian ACI Karting Championship after the Covid emergency. Free practice already started in this long weekend in Sicily that will reach its conclusion on August 9th with the two finals of the categories entitled in this championship: namely, the shifter KZ2, the newly-homologated CIK-FIA International MINI Gr.3, 60 Mini 2015-2020 and the two IAME X30 categories Junior and Senior. The challenge between Cunati and Palomba in KZ2
In KZ2 the two main protagonists of the past campaign, the Italian reigning champion Simone Cunati of Team Modena Kart, and two times runner up in 2018 and 2019 Giuseppe Palomba, who is a BirelArt official driver but in this occasion, he will be assisted by team LG Motorsport. These two top drivers will have to face the competition of other very strong drivers like Davide De Marco, Mirko Mizzoni, Luigi Di Lorenzo and others that will be joined by some Sicilian drivers ready to shine in the home race.

A lot of protagonists in the two MINI categories
The participation in International MINI Group 3 is great with a lot of protagonists that have already come to the fore in the races held earlier into the season like the Japanese Kean Nakamura Berta and Slovenia’s Mark Kastelic of Team Driver, the Dutch son of former F1 driver Jan Lammers, René Lammers, the Slovenian Aleksandar Bogunovic and teammate Cristian Blandino of Team Gamoto, the Pole Jan Przyrowsky of AV Racing, Maciej Gladysz of Parolin Racing Kart, Tony Kart Racing Team’s American James Egozi, the French Jimmy Helias and Jules Caranta, the Peruvian Andres Cardenas and several others. The presence in 60 Mini is also good with Singapore’s Tiziano Monza of Team KidiX and teammate from Hungary Adam Hideg and other drivers are ready to shine.

High-level races expected in IAME Senior and Junior
A lot of strong drivers are to compete in the two IAME X30 categories that are expected to produce very high level races. In Senior, Vittorio Maria Russo, Filippo Croccolino and Michael Barbaro Paparo will be present, while a lot of drivers are set to debut in Junior after a start of the career in Mini. Among these, a good duel will certainly be fought by Team Driver’ drivers like Leonardo Dal Col, Nicholas Pujatti, Sebastiano Pavan, Team Gamoto’s Manuel Scognamiglio and Alessandro Minetto, Team Kidix’s Brazilian Miguel Costa and a lot of other drivers ready to slide in the fight for the win.
