The Italian ACI Karting Championship is at the eve of the second round in Adria

Next May 9th the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship will take place in Adria with categories KZ2, X30 Junior and Senior, Rok Junior and Senior on track as Mini Rok for the Levanto Trophy, 60 Mini and MINI Gr.3 for the LIQUI MOLY Trophy. All the classifications after the opener in Jesolo.

Rome, April 28th, 2021. After the opener held last April 18th in Jesolo, the Italian ACI Karting Championship is heading to the second round of the season that will take place at the Circuit in Adria (Rovigo) next May 6th-9th. As in the case of the opener, the entitled categories are KZ2, IAME X30 Junior, IAME X30 Senior, Rok Junior and Rok Senior. In Adria, Mini Rok will also be present for the Rok Levanto Trophy and 60 Mini and MINI Gr.3 for the LIQUI MOLY Trophy.

Entries are now accepted for the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Adria.

The classifications after the first round

Tormen is the first leader of KZ2.
The classifications of the championship see Marco Tormen (Modena Kart/BirelART-TM Racing) leading KZ2 at 62 points thanks to race-1 victory and the second place in race-2, while the 2020 Italian Champion and winner of the second final, Giuseppe Palomba (LG Motorsport/BirelART-TM Racing), is currently fifth at 28 points as he scored a DNF in race-1. The second place is currently shared by Giacomo Pollini (NGM Motorsport/ CRG-TM Racing) and Matteo Mazzucchelli (Top Kart-TM Racing) which stand at 38 points, while Michele Fontana (CKR/CKR-TM Racing) is fourth at 30 points. The special Under-20 classification is led by Michele Fontana at 52 points. He is followed by Alex Maragliano at 48 and Giuseppe Palomba at 38.

Italian KZ2 Under-20 Championship:

Pavan grabs all the points in X30 Junior.
Sebastiano Pavan (Team Driver/KR-Iame) claimed all the points in IAME X30 Junior and the victory in Race-1 and Race-2 earned him 66 points. Despite the double win by Pavan, the two finals of X30 Junior in Jesolo have been hard-fought all the way to the flag. The second place is currently held by Pavan’s teammate Francesco Marenghi at 48 points, who is followed by the Bulgarian Kaloyan Verbitzaliev (Autoeuropeo/Tony Kart-Iame) at 42, Matteo Franco Segre (OK1 Racing/OK1-Iame) at 38 and Alessandro Minetto (Gomoto/Tony Kart-Iame) at 28.
Italian X30 Junior Championship:
1. Pavan points 66
2. Marenghi 48
3. Varbitzaliev 42
4. Segre 38
5. Minetto 28.

Petjoi leads X30 Senior.
The IAME X30 Senior has been particularly exciting and a lot of drivers have what it takes to take the win. In Jesolo, the top step of the podium went to the Finn Teemu Petjoi (Virus Racing/Tony Kart-Iame) in Race-1 and to the French Arnaud Malizia (Autoeuropeo/Tony Kart-Iame) in Race-2. The first is leading the championship at 62 points, while the latter is fourth at 34. The second place of the standings is currently held by Cristian Comanducci (PRK/Tony Kart-Iame) at 40 points, while the 2020 Italian Champion Danny Carenini (Autoeuropeo/Tony kart-Iame) is third at 38 points. The fifth place is shared by Filippo Croccolino (Autoeuropeo/Tony kart-Iame) and by the excellent Erika Lavazza (Virus Racing/Tony Kart-Iame) at 25 points, as the latter ended Race-2 in P3 and took the lead of the Women classification.
X30 Senior Championship:
1. Petjoi points 62
2. Comanducci 40
3. Carenini 38
4. Malizia 34
5. Croccolino and Lavazza 25.

Atzeri, takes the first lead of Rok Junior.
In Rok Junior Riccardo Atzeri (MAD Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) claimed the first lead of the standings thanks to the victory in Jesolo’s Race-1 and the third place in Race-2. Atzeri is leading the pack at 29 points, while the second place is held by Alessandro Antonelli (Parolin-Vortex) at 23 thanks to the win in Race-2. The Pole Piotr Czaja (KTR Exprit/Kosmic-Vortex) follows at 21 points and proceeds his teammate and fellow countryman Adam Piszczako at 19 points and Lorenzo Coronese (Tony Kart-Vortex) at 13,5.
Rok Junior Championship:
1. Atzeri points 29
2. Antonelli 23
3. Czaja 21
4. Piszczako 19
5. Coronese 13,5.

Donno leads Rok Senior with a full score.
In Rok Senior Eliseo Donno (KGT Motorsport/Tony Kart-Vortex) grabbed all the available points in Jesolo and leads the standings at 33 points. Marco Matera (MAD Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) is second at 24 as he claimed a double podium, while the Pole Gabriel Lukasiewicz (Exprit Racing/Exprit-Vortex) is third at 21 points and leads Marco Chiarello (KR-Vortex) at 19.
Rok Senior Championship:
1. Donno points 33
2. Matera 24
3. Lukasiewicz 21
4. Chiarello 19.

Erika Lavazza leads the Women Championship.
Among the women taking part in the Italian ACI Karting Championship, two scored some points. Erika Lavazza (Virus Racing/Tony Kart-Iame) is leading the classification at 25 points as she ended Race-2 on the podium in X30 Senior after being 9th in Race-1. Natalia Valentina Balbo (NGM Motorsport/CRG-TM Racing) is second thanks to the 5 points earned in Race-1 of the competitive KZ2.
