Mugello, a fantastic pole position for Fisichella-Mosca (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020)

The Scuderia Baldini’s pairing set the best time in the combined three timed sessions and will start from pole position alongside Guzman-Gilardoni-Middleton, who set the second-fastest time today. In the GT Cup, the fastest were Demarchi-Patrinicola-Di Mare (Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo), ahead of Piria-Galbiati (EF Racing).

Three fiercely contested and intense qualifying sessions have just concluded at the Mugello Circuit, where the second round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship is taking place. Thanks to the best overall time in the three sectors (5'22.010s), Giancarlo Fisichella and co-equiper Tommaso Mosca (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020) secured the pole position and will start at the front of the grid for the two-hour race tomorrow, which will begin at 2 PM.

Alongside the Scuderia Baldini crew, the Guzman-Gilardoni-Middleton team (Lamborghini Huracan GT3-Imperiale Racing) will occupy the second spot on the grid, as they set the second-fastest time today (5'22.680s). Following them, Gai-Donno-Castro (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020-AF Corse) and Comandini-Cassarà-Nilsson (BMW M4 GT3-BMW Italia/Ceccato Racing) will line up, with respective times of 5'24.331s and 5'25.313s.

The second BMW of Tavano-Guerra-Tamburini (5'26.319s) will be starting from the third row as the second Huracan from Imperiale Racing driven by Garcia-Bartholomew (5'27.645s), followed by the Audi R8 LMS (Audi Sport Italia) of Attianese-Stuvik-Bottiroli (5'29.300s) and the leading team of the GT Cup class, representing Best Lap, in the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo with Demarchi-Patrinicola-Di Mare (5'38.202s).

In the ranking of the best times in the single-make configuration class, behind the representatives of the Roman team, Piria-Galbiati (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup-EF Racing), are the first crew of the GT Cup AM, Lazzaroni-Moretti (Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo-Bonaldi Motorsport), the Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo (DL Racing) of Caiola-Fabi-Ianniello, and the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup from Krypton Motorsport driven by Di Benedetto-Nicolosi-Pezzucchi. The seventh row will see the two Ferrari 488 Challenge cars from SR&R with Atzori-Bacci-Menichini and Di Leo-La Mazza-Ling, followed by the two Lambo cars of Bontempelli-Linos-Devrikos (DL Racing) and Pavlovic-Fischbaum (Bonaldi Motorsport).

Completing the starting grid for the second race of the Endurance series are L.Privitelio-D.Privitelio (Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo-Iron Linx) and Luvisi-Di Fant-Guerra (Porsche 991 GT3 Cup-GDL Racing) on the ninth row, along with Guidetti-Fondi (Lamborghini Huracan ST-Petri Corse) and Simoncini-Barin-Franceschi (Porsche 991 GT3 Cup-PS Performance) on the tenth row.

Tomorrow, the race will be broadcast live on Acisport TV (SKY 228) and streamed on the championship's website www.acisport.it/CIGT, Facebook page, and YouTube. Raisport (Freeview 58) has scheduled a recorded broadcast for next Monday at 4 PM.
