RACE CLASSIFICATION

GT3: It was truly a triumph for the Scuderia Baldini crew in the first race of the endurance series, held on their home track in front of thousands of fans. The victory of Leclerc-Fisichella-Mosca was never in doubt, despite two FCY (Full Course Yellow) and safety car periods that neutralized the race. However, the Scuderia Baldini drivers were quick to extend their lead over the pursuers in both restarts. Fisichella, during the restart in the final stint, immediately gained valuable seconds and crossed the finish line in first place ahead of the Audi R8 of Aka-Delli Guanti-Mazzola and the BMW M4 of Comandini-Guerra-Denes, which managed to hold off the return of the second Audi of Moncini-Cola-Van Berlo in the final stages. The Tresor Audi Sport Italia drivers had a fantastic race, climbing from 18th on the grid to finish just four-tenths off the podium and ahead of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2 (VSR) of Cazzaniga-Di Folco-Liberati.

The GT3 PRO-AM was won by Sandrucci-Ferrari-Bencivenni, driving the Mercedes AMG GT3. The performance of the Antonelli Motorsport drivers was further highlighted by two great stints from Ferrari, who made his return to the Italian GT. The other two steps of the PRO-AM podium were taken by Stadsbader-Fabi (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2-VSR) and Bracalente-Donno (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020), thanks to three excellent stints from the young Apulian driver, which allowed the AF Corse crew to stay in contention with the leaders throughout the race.

Fulgenzi-Galbiati (Porsche GT3 R-EF Racing) finished in seventh overall, while the top ten was completed by the third VSR team of Moulin-Tribaudini-Guidetti, who finished ahead of Ponzio-Gai-Mac (Ferrari 296 GT3-AF Corse) and Rogalski-Gilardoni-Deledda (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2-Imperiale Racing). In GT3 AM, the top step of the podium was claimed by Colavita-Riccitelli-Ulrich, driving the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 of Double TT Racing, ahead of the two Honda NSX GT3s from Nova Race, driven by Marchetti-Ferri-Bodellini and Magnoni-Ciglia-Massaro.

GT Cup: For DL Racing, the first competitive weekend of the Endurance series marked a double success for their crews in the two subclasses. In the 1st Division PRO-AM, the victory of Segù-Caiola (Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo2) came thanks to three fantastic stints by the 24-year-old driver from Como, allowing them to finish the race ahead of the two Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo2s of Demarchi-Patrinicola-Di Mare (Best Lap) and Risitano-Schofield-Attianese (SR&R).

In the AM class, the victory of Gattuso-Mainetti-Riva was facilitated by the retirement of the crew Clementi Pisani-D’Auria-Bolger (Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo2-HC Racing Division) due to an electrical problem on the 78th lap while they were leading, which allowed Marzialetti-Agoglia-Postiglione (Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo2-Best Lap) to claim the second step of the podium.

In the 2nd Division, reserved for Porsche GT3 Cup, Berton-Laurini-Peroni (Racevent) delivered an outstanding performance, finishing first in PRO-AM ahead of Nicolosi-Di Benedetto-Cazzaniga (Ebimotors), while in the AM class, Van Der Slot-Buratti (EF Racing) took the win ahead of the two crews from Centri Porsche Ticino, Presezzi-Busnelli-Jacoma and Knez-“Hash”-Fontana.
