Mugello, Fisichella-Leclerc-Mosca (Ferrari 296 GT3) take the pole position of the second round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship

The representatives of Scuderia Baldini were ahead of Bracalente-Donno and Cazzaniga-Di Folco-Liberati in the sum of the best times achieved by individual drivers. In the GT Cup, the best time was set by Ibrahim-Di Fabio-Testa.

Giancarlo Fisichella, Arthur Leclerc, and Tommaso Mosca (Ferrari 296 GT3) will start the second round of the Italian GT Championship at the Mugello circuit from pole position. The Scuderia Baldini drivers, with a combined time of 5'21.494, have beaten the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 (AF Corse) of Bracalente-Donno (5'22.287), who will start next to them on the grid. Cazzaniga-Di Folco-Liberati (Lamborghini Huracan GT3-VSR) and Fulgenzi-Galbiati (Porsche GT3R-EF Racing), with times of 5'22.307 and 5'22.533 respectively, will line up on the second row.

With the fifth fastest time in the official trials (5'23.357), Ponzio-Gai-Mac (Ferrari 296 GT3-AF Corse) will position themselves on the third row alongside the first of the two Audi R8 LMS (Tresor-Audi Sport Italia) of Aka-Delli Guanti-Mazzola, who recorded a time of 5'23.394. These two teams are ahead of the second R8 of Moncini-Cola-Van Berlo and the Mercedes AMG GT3 (Antonelli Motorsport) of Sandrucci-Ferrari-Bencivenni, with times of 5'23.981 and 5'24.278 respectively. The first of the two BMW M4 GT3 (BMW Italia-Ceccato Racing Team) of Comandini-Guerra-Denes (5'24.832) and the first Huracan GT3 Evo2 of Imperiale Racing driven by Rogalski-Gilardoni-Deledda (5'29.034) will start from the fifth row.

In the GT Cup, the duel for the fastest lap was decided at the end of the third session with Diego Di Fabio, driving with Egyptian Ibrahim and Portuguese Testa, who, at the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo2 of DL Racing, beat their teammates Segù-Caiola-Fontana, the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (Racevent) of Berton-Laurini-Peroni (5'37.941), and the Lamborghini of HC Racing Division driven by Clementi Pisani-D’Auria-Bolger (5'38.789).

Tomorrow at 3:00 PM, the three-hour race will start and will be broadcast live on Acisport TV (SKY 228) and streamed on the championship's website and all its social media platforms. Raisport will air a one-hour summary on Thursday, July 18 at 3:15 PM, available on channel 58 of digital terrestrial television.
