The Scuderia Baldini team officially clinched the overall title at Vallelunga after mathematics had already awarded it to them in the last race at Mugello. Their triumph came at the end of a race where they finished in second place behind the winners Gilardoni-Guzman-Middleton. The other Italian championship titles went to Comandini-Cassarà-Nilsson (GT3 PRO-AM), Demarchi-Patrinicola-Di Mare (GT Cup PRO-AM) and Caiola-Fabi-Ianniello (GT Cup AM).
